Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will host a private breakfast with the New Hampshire Republican Party Executive Committee prior to his appearance at a NHGOP activist training session when he visits the state on March 14 for the first time since September 2012.
According to NHGOP chair Jennifer Horn, it will be “an opportunity for the Governor to meet many of our committee chairs and grassroots leaders.” Republican Walker is moving quickly organizing a likely presidential campaign.
The Walker visit has create a major buzz in New Hampshire since it was confirmed on Jan. 22 that he will be the keynote speaker at a “2016 Kickoff Grassroots Training” event at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord. Horn has said Walker “has proven that he is not afraid to stand up to the liberal establishment and fight for conservative principles, no matter the consequence.”
The breakfast will also be at NHTI.
Walker was last in the state in September 2012 to keynote the NHGOP’s convention.
Also in the state that day will be former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who will be in the second day of a two-day swing through the first-in-the-nation primary state.
