CONCORD — The Northeast Organizing Director for the Ready for Hillary PAC is ramping up organizing activities with his first of many regular updates to Democrats in the first-in-the-nation primary state.
Sean Downey, the former district director for U.S. Rep. Ann Kuster, was named to the key post for Ready for Hillary in April.
In the first of what he says will be weekly updates, Downey asks for invitations to visit with local party committees, neighborhood groups and organizations “to talk about our program and what we’re doing in the Granite State.”
In the memo, Downey noted that The Hillary Bus made stops in Portsmouth, Concord, Manchester and at Dartmouth College in late July.
Later this month, he wrote, there will be a Seacoast Ready for Hillary Organizing Meeting in Portsmouth on Aug. 21 and a Gilford-Lakes Region House Party with House speaker Terie Norelli on Aug. 24.
He noted that Ready for Hillary volunteers are hoping to “clipboard” supporters at local farmers’ markets.
Ready for Hillary PAC has been organizing in the state for the likelihood of a Hillary Clinton candidacy since early in the year and has a web site, twitter account and Facebook page.
