As likely Republican presidential candidates continue to staff up today, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s RickPAC has told the New Hampshire Journal it has made three key hires.
The disclosure comes as Perry begins a visit to New Hampshire tomorrow, with nine stops into two days.
Veteran political operative Michael Dennehy has moved into the role as RickPAC state senior advisor after having a similar role in Perry’s issues group, Americans for Economic Freedom. He has been a GOP strategist for more than 20 years and managed both of Sen. John McCain’s 2000 and 2008 victories in the New Hampshire Primary.
Dante Vitagliano has been named as field director of RickPAC in New Hampshire. He was deputy political director of Marilinda Garcia’s 2nd District U.S. House campaign last year, while Ryder Selmi will serve as North Country field manager. Selmi was the North Country field manager for the Garcia campaign and was an ambassador for the campus-based organization, Turning Point USA.
“We are honored be part of the team spreading Gov. Perry’s positive vision of prosperity, reform and revival for America,” Dennehy said. “This team knows New Hampshire and we are excited to work closely with Rick Perry as he crisscrosses the Granite State.”
