District 4 Executive Councilor Chris Pappas has unveiled an extensive digital advertising campaign that is unprecedented for an Executive Council race.
Pappas campaign manager Lucas Meyer says the ads will be in pre-roll, Facebook and banner ad formats, connecting to videos of Pappas speaking about his work as a Councilor and experience as a small businessman.
Several versions of a video entitled “Customer Service” are set in the Manchester Democrat’s well-known restaurant, the Puritan Backroom. He compares constituent service to customer service in the private sector.
“Running my family’s restaurant business has taught me valuable lessons about solving tough problems and getting results,” Pappas says. “In this business, you have to understand your customers’ needs, giving them responsive service and good value for their dollar.
“Those same principles guide my work on the Executive Council, where my focus is always on the people I represent, not the political issues that can divide us.”
In another video, slated for social media, Pappas talks about the role of the council.
Meyer said the Pappas campaign has tapped Greg Wasserstrom, who was OFA-NH digital director in 2012, and his new firm, Spearhead Digital, to coordinate the ad program.
Pappas is seeking a second term on the council and is facing, for the second time, Republican Bob Burns of Bedford.
