“One of our great strengths…is that we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, a Jewish nation, or a Muslim nation but are a nation of citizens bound by ideals and a set of values.”
This comment is one of the more sincere that Barack Hussein Obama has uttered because it conveys his own deep-seated beliefs about the United States and religion.
The United States is a post-Christian nation and it became official on January 20, 2009 when Barack Obama became President.
We are confronted with a threat to our very existence unlike anything we have ever experienced.
The basis for the political state– our laws, the Constitution–was built on the bedrock of Judeo-Christian values and ethics – natural law.
We were a nation that believed in the Judeo-Christian notion of God and faith. Further, the Founding Fathers believed in the competition of religion in the public sphere…not an endorsement of one religion but certainly an endorsement of Judeo-Christianity. We clearly were not created as a secular humanist state.
But perhaps we are reaching the fulfillment of the Enlightenment ethos, i.e., rationality (science) has declared that God is dead. There really is no spirituality or supreme Creator. That was all a lie that Thomas Jefferson was referring to in the Declaration of Independence. He had to write it that way because of the conventions of his time.
The world would certainly be far better off if everyone would just accept the warm and fuzzy platitudes that secular humanists espouse and reject those nasty and divisive religions. Isn’t that what Barack Obama is really saying when he says, “We can create a modern international community that is respectful, secure and prosperous and that there are not tensions, inevitable tensions between cultures.”
We are under assault from within as the very foundations of this country and Western civilization are in the last phase of dismemberment. Obama is the politician that will destroy last vestiges of the Judeo-Christian culture and lead us to the promised land of the modern international community.
The facts are there to behold.
The judicial system was compromised a long time ago and has finally reached the point that Justice Scalia recently said, “The Constitution is dead.” Elected politics is run by two corrupt parties that “self-deal” for their own political and financial interests at the expense of the nation. Our military is being gutted because it is not needed for this “modern international community.” The economy that offered some respite to small business has become the subject of the political class and the big banks. And finally, the destruction of the family (and thereby our Judeo-Christian society) will be complete as homosexual marriage is codified into law.
Wake up! Smell the stench of those that are in control of our country. Do you really think they are legitimate?
What are you willing to stand and fight for? Your faith? Your family? Your country?
