Obama job approval below average in NH
Gallup released new state-by-state job approval numbers for President Obama yesterday, which showed a downward trend nationwide. While approval numbers ranging from a stratospheric 84 percent in Washington, DC to a dismal 28 percent in Wyoming, most states landed somewhere in the 40-50 percent range.
While New Hampshire didn’t rank among the ten least approving states, it was one of 18 states that gave the President a below average rating, coming in at 41 percent. Notably, many of NH’s neighbors made the top ten list, including Massachusetts (55.2%), Connecticut (54%), and Rhode Island (55.1%).
