• Overall Impression – Was the website one that would keep them exploring? Rated 1 to 4 points.

“The Epoch Homes team is thrilled to have been recognized by a voice of our industry for providing a web site that generates interest and provides the kind of detailed information the custom home buyers, especially those interested in Building Green, are looking to find”, said CEO, John Ela. “Most custom buyers start their planning on the web, so it is important to us to make the process as easy as possible, showing hundreds of searchable plans and easy navigation to the information that is relevant to them.” He continued, “At the same time, the web site is also an important source of information for Builders who are looking for an easier way to build Green Prefab homes.”

The web site was initially designed in collaboration with Sullivan Creative (http://www.sullivancreative.com/). The site was designed to make it easy to manage and update by the Epoch Homes web team, allowing Epoch to constantly add new information, additional custom home designs, and pictures of beautiful completed homes.

The Modular Home Builder Blog (www.modcoach.blogspot.com) is written by Gary Fleisher. He describes his blog as “A practical approach for Modular Home Builders, Factory Management and modular home sales people that are looking for help in staying focused and profitable. Now the most widely read modular home blog.”

In 2011, Epoch Homes celebrates its 29th year of innovation, providing quality custom modular homes to discerning Builders and home owners. Epoch is the first modular home manufacturer in the nation to be certified under the Modular Green Approved program offered by the NAHB Research Center, and one of the first to offer homes designed to meet both the LEED for Homes Platinum level, and the National Green Building Standard.
