Music Hall Announces C&J As Newest Transportation Partner

The Music Hall, the performing arts center featuring entertainment from around the world in its landmark 900-seat Historic Theater, and intimate 124-seat Music Hall Loft, recently announced its newest partner in destination programming and travel to Portsmouth, C&J has signed on with a $10,000 sponsorship to support and enhance transportation initiatives for The Music Hall during the 2011-2012 season.

The Music Hall has always been motivated to solve issues surrounding getting people to Portsmouth and then moving them around once here and boasts a healthy list of transportation partners for this walk-able city. C&J joins a fleet of other transportation partners from the free Vintage Christmas in Portsmouth Trolley from Coast Transportation and provided by the City of Portsmouth during the first three weekends of December—is a great way to get an overview of the city or simply get from your hotel to The Music Hall—to Regal Limousine, which routinely escorts Music Hall artists and talent to and from the city and its sister company Blue Star Taxi, offering patrons direct transportation.

The Music Hall attracts more than 100,000 patrons with its eclectic entertainment and its patrons have undeniably proven to boost the local Seacoast economy with show related spending such as parking, dining, shopping, etc.

The unforgettable Music Hall experience is now going to be even easier to get to. The new 2011-2012 season kicked off July 1, 2011. Season highlights include Chris Matthews; Paula Poundstone; Lily Tomlin; Soweto Gospel Choir; Cirque Mechanics Boom Town; Met@The Music Hall; National Theatre of London HD Broadcast series; Squirm Burpee Circus; and Comedy Central Star Juston McKinney.

    I am all for the Music Hall and sponsorships. C&J just recently raised commuter pass fares, so it is nice to know that our commuter pass increases is going towards a sponsorship. Too bad we never see the 21 State of the Art MCI buses on the commuter runs.
