Johnson In Top Half in Stratham

Gary Johnson may be back of the pack in the polls, but he finished in the top half of the field in Saturday’s Stratham Fair Road Race. The former New Mexico Governor, 58, placed 80th overall out of 179 finishers. Johnson covered the 5.7 mile course in 44:53, or at 7:52 pace, on a hot morning. Not your average fitness jogger, Johnson has completed the Hawaii Iron Man triathlon five times.

Later Saturday, Johnson made a stop in Dover where “discussions about legalizing marijuana took up a large portion of the conversation,” according to Fosters.

Memo to Gov. Johnson: You were a two-term governor. Surely you have more topics you can talk about. If you want to be taken more seriously, you’ve got to be more than the pro-legalization candidate.
