Innis campaign finance director moves to Brown camp in same post
CONCORD – It’s somewhat unusual for top staff member to switch campaigns just as the election season is ramping up, but that is what has occurred on the Republican side in New Hampshire.
Stephanie Webb, a young rising star in the GOP activist circles, has left Dan Innis’ 1st District Congressional campaign as its finance director to move to the same position with Scott Brown’s U.S. Senate campaign.
Innis campaign manager Paul Collins Wednesday confirmed that Webb “did resign” from the Innis campaign. He said the parting was amicable.
“We are grateful for her good work and her continued support for Dan Innis,” said Collins.
No successor has yet been named as we understand Webb’s departure is recent.
A source in the Brown campaign confirmed that Webb is joining as finance director for Brown but there was no further comment.
Brown will formalize his candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat held by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen Thursday evening during an announcement event in Portsmouth.
