NASHUA – When Republican Indiana Gov. Mike Pence visits New Hampshire next week, in addition to sparking speculation about a possible run for President, he’ll co-host a breakfast fundraiser for 2nd District Republican U.S. House candidate Marilinda Garcia.
The New Hampshire Journal has learned that Pence will co-host the Oct. 24 morning event at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Nashua with former state Sen. Jim Luther and former state Rep. Pete Silva. Also co-hosting will be Hollis activist John Ferlins.
Pence’s visit to the first-in-the-nation primary state was first announced about two weeks ago. It will be his first to the state since 2010, when he was a congressman.
He has been Governor of Indiana since last year and viewed as a viable possible contender for the GOP presidential nomination.
Also Wednesday, the RightNOW Women PAC endorsed Garcia in her race against Democratic incumbent Ann Kuster.
The PAC, which is strongly supported by Sen. Kelly Ayotte, is focused on attracting young women to conservative causes and the Republican Party.
