‘Happy endings’ bust at Salem weight loss spa
SALEM, N.H.—Two New Hampshire women are facing prostitution and other charges after Salem police concluded sexual conduct was taking place between customers and staff at a local spa.
Salem police say they began their investigation into activities at the ETEA Weight Loss Spa earlier this month after they began receiving reports the sexual conduct was taking place at the end of massages.
Police say the services were advertised on the internet.
Police also heard reports massages were being performed by untrained and unlicensed masseuses and that the owner of the spa was training new employees to perform the sex acts.
Police say 47-year-old Lori Barron of Salem and 39-year-old Susan Choi of Derry are facing misdemeanor offenses.
