Guinta discusses Tea Party, gridlock, the Mideast, the NSA in radio ‘non-debate’

MANCHESTER — Republican 1st District U.S. House candidate Frank Guinta talked about the status of the Tea Party, gridlock on Capitol Hill, U.S. military operations in Iraq and Syria and his view of the government role in balancing individual privacy rights with protecting national security in a radio interview this morning.

Guinta appeared along on “New Hampshire Today” with Jack Heath and answered question posed by New Hampshire Journal News Editor John DiStaso.

U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter had turned down Heath’s invitation to debate Guinta during the nearly hour-long program. She announced a debate schedule last month that included seven events. The first joint event was held on Sept. 25 in Portmouth.
