The former governor of New York, Gov. George Pataki is coming to NH on Tuesday to launch the NH chapter of “No American Debt”, a citizen advocacy group. The organization, chaired by Gov. Pataki, is dedicated to making sure the 2012 presidential candidates get their message for a more responsible fiscal approach toward the Nation’s enormous debt.
NH remembers Gov Pataki for his tremendous leadership during the 9/11 attacks and his potential candidacy for President in the 2008 cycle. Gov Pataki is not a new arrival to making his voice heard on the topic of fiscal discipline in government, so it is a natural role that he will be playing as Chair of “No American Debt”.
Gov. Pataki will give a brief speech at New England College at 10:30 Tuesday, and take some questions.
Scott Spradling, formerly of WMUR noteriety and now President of The Spradling Group,, will be working with the Governor on his visit and tells NHJournal, “This is part of a national effort Pataki is putting together…and he plans to be a visible presence on the trail, challenging candidates to offer real answers right now.”
