NH Journal announced today that iconic Granite State political reporter John DiStaso has joined its team as News Editor as it gears up to provide groundbreaking coverage of one of the hottest Senate races in the nation and the 2016 Presidential primary.
DiStaso will have editorial control over the news content of NH Journal.
“I have nothing but tremendous gratitude for the opportunities I have been afforded these many years at the New Hampshire Union Leader,” said DiStaso. “Looking ahead, I plan to continue to work tirelessly to produce the same fair, unbiased, straightforward breaking political news coverage and analysis that I have been providing readers in New Hampshire and beyond for three decades.”
“We have another exciting mid-term campaign at hand, and once again, the New Hampshire races – and voters – are being watched, listened to and analyzed by the media and political observers across the country. And, of course, the seeds of 2016 first-in-the-nation presidential primary campaign are being sewn on both sides of the political aisle,” DiStaso continued. “I’m proud to say that I’ll be on the forefront, as always, of reporting on both cycles, and beyond, through NH Journal.”
