Conservative, women-focused ‘UP Project’ PAC launches video hitting Shaheen on ACA

The Unlocking Potential Project political action committee, headed by former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, today will launch a web video that contends Sen. Jeanne Shaheen is waging “shameless war on women attacks” against Republican Scott Brown.

The video is an effort to push back against Shaheen’s appeal to women by criticizing Brown on abortion and related reproductive rights issues.

Fiorina says in the video that Shaheen has tried to “hide her record of failing New Hampshire and rubber-stamping the Obama agenda.”

A narrator then says that under the Affordable Care Act, “women are losing access to their health care because Jeanne Shaheen and Obamacare cost 22,000 to lose their health plans.

“Many lost their doctor they trust and are forced – forced – to travel further than ever before for hospital treatment,” the narrator says.

Viewers are directed to, an online engagement platform associated with the UP Project aimed at supplementing the PAC’s door-to-door program.
