Campaign notes: Perry, focusing on Ebola issue at home, cuts $10K check to NHGOP

FRIDAY, OCT. 17: A CHECK FROM RICK. Texas Gov. Rick Perry had been scheduled to come to New Hampshire back on Oct. 6 and 7, but had to postpone indefinitely due to the Ebola scare in his home state.

And that issues obviously continues.

But potential presidential contender Perry, clearly wanting to let Granite State Republicans know that he’s thinking about them, has cut a check for $10,000 from his RickPAC, which was delivered to the NHGOP today.

The check came in a day after Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul made no fewer than four stops in the state rallying Republicans to get out the vote on Nov. 4.

Paul contributed $10,000 to the party last year, while fellow potential presidential candidates Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and former Ambassador John Boston have also given $10,000 each.
