TUESDAY SEPT. 30: ANNIE’S NEW AD; MAGGIE ENDORSED. The Democratic push for the women’s vote crossed at least three top races on Tuesday.
As Democrats attacked Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown, Gov. Maggie Hassan picked up the endorsement of the Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund and 2nd District U.S. Rep. Ann Kuster launched a new television ad calling her GOP opponent, Marilinda Garcia, “frightening” and “way too extreme” on “women’s health.”

The nonpartisan advocacy group named 50 lawmakers “Champions of Children” and 50 lawmakers “Defenders of Children.”
Shea-Porter’s campaign said she is the founder and co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional Allergy and Asthma Caucus, and “has led initiatives to improve education, awareness, and treatment for asthma.”

HILLARY FUNDRAISER FOR JEANNE. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will host a fundraiser this week in New York City for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.
Hillary and Bill Clinton are longtime friends of Jeanne and Bill Shaheen, so the disclosure was no surprise.
Still, the event will be held just a few days after the Clintons became grandparents. The birth of Chelsea Clinton’s daughter, Charlotte, forced the postponement of a fundraiser in Washington, D.C., for state Sen. Lou D’Allesandro that was to be held tonight.
