Business Roundtable Series continues with Republican Gubernatorial Candidates

The New Hampshire House Business Coalition, a caucus of State Reps that focuses on issues impacting the business community, held Business Roundtable events with the two major Democratic candidates for Governor, Jackie Cilley and Maggie Hassan in May. The events were organized to give NHHBC members the opportunity to question the candidates about their specific ideas for improving the economy and creating jobs in the Granite State.

Next up are Roundtable events with the major candidates on the Republican side, with Ovide Lamontagne scheduled for June 13, and Kevin Smith on June 20.

“At all of these events, the candidates have a full 20 minutes of uninterrupted time to share their vision for our state, and their game plan for getting us there,” wrote NHHBC Chair Laurie Sanborn in an email announcing the event, “The focus is on business and economic issues, in keeping with the House Business Coalition’s non-partisan mission.”

Perhaps those seeking to ascend the throne to His Excellency† could flesh out a position or two on the following, sans equivocating:
    1. Real School Choice™,
    2. Agencies, bureaus, departments, boards, cubicles up for the ax
    3. ditto for taxes
    4. Which prohibitions should end
    5. Termination of Eminent Insane domain
    6. Cleaning House of PUC
    7. Removal of State from mystic marriage rites
If nothing else, it would be fun to watch.
