Vice President Joe Biden might thank his boss Barack Obama that he’s visiting New Hampshire this week to speak on taxes instead of the administration’s energy policy.
That’s because when the Vice President is here he will be greeted with gas prices that are “21.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 15.4 cents per gallon higher than one month ago,” according to Foster’s Daily Democrat.
Many conservatives accuse the Obama administration of being responsible for those high gas prices because it has focused the majority of its energy policy on promoting so-called “green energy.” That hasn’t worked out, as the Solyndra solar debacle and other missteps illustrate.
Just last week, Biden stated that “our energy policy is the best it’s ever been.”
