CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Former New Hampshire Gov. Walter Peterson is undergoing treatment for lung cancer.
His son, Andy Peterson, told The Associated Press on Monday that his 88-year-old father found out recently and is being treated at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He said his father is in general good health and never smoked which may be a plus in his treatment.
He said the family is hoping the treatment will be successful.
